Upcycled Vintage Pearl Bat Wristlet / Keychain (Limited)

The second piece in Toothache’s 25-piece up-cycling challenge started as a vintage faux pearl necklace. The pearls have been restrung on thin, flexible beading wire and mixed with textured gold beads, clear crystal accents, and glossy black bat charms for a little contrast. A gold-colored heart-shaped metal clasp finishes it and gives it a sweet-meets-spooky feel.

It measures about 12 inches around, so it sits comfortably as a wristlet or can be clipped onto a bag or keys.

Notes
The pearls and original hardware are vintage/repurposed. Small variations in pearl tone and bead texture are part of the piece’s character. The heart clasp is functional and secure for wristlet or keychain use.
